Program Description

Learn how to pack as much information as possible into online help from the Palm Pilot to the Pocket PC.

In this presentation we will look at some information solutions technical communicators are being called upon to provide for handheld devices. Whether you are providing mobile reference information for field technicians, online help for a handheld application, marketing information to conference attendees, web content by wireless transfer, or electronic books for readers, we will give you tips on how to design and organize the information and discuss some of the tools you can use to develop, debug, and transfer the information to the device.

About our presenter

Holly Gallup is a documentation consultant with over 20 years of experience in technical writing, editing, user-interface design, and project management.
