Program Description

  • Are you working harder but falling farther behind?
  • Is your morale lower than a dog's dinner?
  • Are you complaining more than usual?
  • Are you moving from one project to another without a break?

Robert Fish, Ph.D., seminar leader, communications expert and author, will arrive like the cavalry at our February dinner meeting to address stress issues we all must manage nowadays.

There's no denying it, stress is a part of our lives. The issue isn't how to eliminate it, but rather how to cope with it, how to keep it from adversely affecting the quality of our work and our lives. Robert Fish, Ph.D., will bring his knowledge and experience to our club at the February meeting with his presentation, “Business Improvement Through The Art Of Self Mastery”.

About our presenter
Robert Fish has a rich and diverse background. He teaches storytelling for the University of California at Santa Cruz. He has performed at conferences and festivals, on TV and radio, and has produced two dozen story tapes, made for the stressed commuter to listen to while driving. Robert has had his own business since 1993, leading presentation skills and stress management workshops and giving talks for corporations and associations. As a contract trainer, he teaches presentation skills for Frederick Gilbert and Associates. He has taught stress management classes for six years for the prestigious Meyer Friedman Institute as part of a landmark study on heart disease and stress (Dr. Friedman, a cardiologist, coined the term "Type A" behavior).

Plan to attend and learn from the wisdom of Robert Fish. It promises to be an enjoyable, laughter-filled and rewarding evening. To learn more about Robert, visit his website at www.robertfish.com.
