Program
Description
Join us for a three-part program to end the year!
1) Changing of the Guard
Yes, its that time againjoin us this
evening where Becky and Linda will highlight the chapters
past year's accomplishments and coming year's plans. Also,
meet your new leaders and honor our volunteers.
2) Breema Bodywork Presentation by Elaine Pendergrast
How can you support your body while
sitting at a computer for hours on end?
Most professionals experience physical tension resulting
from long periods of sitting and doing the same activities,
stress from deadlines, and ever-shifting priorities.
Breema, called "The Art of Being Present", provides
the tools necessary to feel less drained physically, mentally,
and emotionally, allowing you to work comfortably and efficiently.
Both nurturing and energizing at the same time, Breema
can help, by:
- gently stretching and relaxing the entire body
- reducing back and neck discomfort
- increasing flexibility
- counteracting repetitive motion problems
- bringing the body into balance with the mind and feelings
and most importantly
- supporting you to be more present in your daily activities,
at work and at home
3) Brainstorming Session
In addition to our regular program, we will have
a brainstorming session to allow all members present to offer
opinions and suggestions on how our "community"
will function in the best interest of its members under the
new STC structure. Your opinions do count so please come prepared
to participate in what we hope will be a lively exchange.
Note this month's meeting will extend until 9 p.m. to accommodate
this session.
