"Trends in Technical Communication"

By a Panel of STC Members
Moderated by Linda Shaltz

Program Description

Back by popular demand, our program will be a panel discussion on trends in technical communication. If you want to know what is new and exciting in the field of technical communication or what is happening with the local job market, come to our March program. These and other thought provoking questions will be discussed during this panel discussion.

These local experts will offer their well-studied insights, and audience members can ask questions and offer their own insights during this rousing exchange of ideas. Be there to encourage the panelists to make predictions, and take full advantage of our shared knowledge!

About our Moderator

Linda Shaltz, East Bay STC President, has worked as a professional technical communicator for 12 years and is currently employed at Chevron Corporation in San Ramon. Besides writing End User documentation, Linda also creates presentations, does web design, graphics, and meeting facilitation.

Her career serves as an example of how technical communication has changed over the past few years and how the writer must change with it.
