"Changing of the Guard"
and
"Beyond Usability Testing: Future Trends That You Can Use Today!"

By Linda Shaltz and Dana E. Chisnell

Program Description

We have a two-part program to end the year!

1) Changing of the Guard

Yes, it’s that time again—join us this evening where Linda will highlight the chapter’s past year's accomplishments and coming year's plans.

Also, meet your new leaders and honor our volunteers.

2) Beyond Usability Testing: Future Trends That You Can Use Today! by Dana E. Chisnell

Is there more to usability than testing in a lab? You bet. Inspired by recent projects she has worked on, Dana will talk about the current state of usability testing and then discuss new, practical methods you should know about – and can do – that will help you:

  • Gather and analyze data faster with new tools
  • Understand your audience better by going to the user
  • Get your development team through design quicker
