Congratulations, Richard
Mateosian, East Bay member and frequent contributor to the Chapter, for being
honored as an Associate Fellow in 2008.
Richard's career path moved from
mathematician to programmer to development manager to technical book author to
technical marketer to technical writer, all in the short span of 40 years. He
is a member of ACM and IEEE. For the last 20 years, he has been review editor
for IEEE Micro.
Richard's STC activities include chapter president and
competition director. He is currently president of the Berkeley
Chapter, treasurer of the Gordon Scholarship, and treasurer of the Management
SIG. He serves on a society-level task force to determine the appropriate funding
model for STC communities. |
