Wins STC Awards! Our
chapter volunteers have been busy this year: The
Devil Mountain Views just won a Merit Award in this year's STC Newsletter
Competition. Thanks, Dave Eicher, our editor, and his dedicated staff for all
your hard work. It shows. We're
back from the Annual Conference in Minneapolis, and we are thrilled to announce
that our chapter won a Community of Merit Achievement Award. The citation reads,
"For your initiatives to provide value to your members through increased
public relations and participation within the academic community." They noted
our revitalized newsletter, our podcasts, and our College Connection efforts.
Thanks to all of our volunteers who have worked so hard to make this achievement
possible. Come to our June 7th meeting and say Thanks to all our volunteers, especially
our dedicated President, Joe Humbert! Jeanie
