Managing Editor

Hi, everyone. We have several interesting articles in this issue.

Andrew Davis, president of Synergistech Communications, Inc., proposes resurrecting the Bay Area Networking Guide (BANG), a directory of local companies that need the services of technical communicators. Several previous editions of this guide were published by the San Francisco chapter of STC, but the last one appeared in 1994.

T.R. Girill discusses the return of the EBSTC/LLNL literacy outreach project to Oakland's Media Academy High School, in its seventh year since our first collaboration in 1999.

Andrew Davis, president of Synergistech Communications, Inc., shares tips on what to do and what not to do regarding interviews.

Richard Mateosian reviews CSS—The Missing Manual by David Sawyer McFarland.

This is the final issue of the Devil Mountain Views for the 2006/2007 year. I've really enjoyed being the managing editor, but it's time to bring in some new blood. As Patrick Lufkin said to me at my first meeting "Editing the newsletter is a great job for a newcomer!" So, come on all you newcomers, someone be bold and step up to the plate. It's fun and easy. I won't leave you in the lurchI'll gladly help you any way I can.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the DMV this past year. I think we lived up to a high standard.
