Holiday Party – 6 December 2018 [Meeting]

Happy Holidays! Come to our year-end meeting, our annual holiday party. The chapter will buy your dinner and any non-alcoholic drinks for free. Come and socialize with other members and friends during this casual holiday party.

We have three traditions for our holiday party:

  1. Share your creativity
  2. Win a mystery gift
  3. Have fun

The chapter will buy your dinner and any non-alcoholic drinks! As with all STC East Bay events, you do not need to be a member to participate in the events. (The chapter will still buy your dinner.)

All you have to do is send us an email to RSVP and let us know you’re coming.

Lightning Talks at Workday – 13 September 2018 [Event]

Lightning Talks are coming to Pleasanton September 13, in a meetup co-sponsored by Workday, Write The Docs, and East Bay STC.

The talks are an open-mike format that allots a few minutes (usually five) to each speaker so that the evening can include a multitude of topics. It’s a great opportunity to find out what’s going on locally in technical writing or for you to talk about a topic or project that others might want to know about.

If you want to find out more about Write The Docs or Workday, you can do that, too. To RSVP for the event, see the listing at Meetup.com.

See the Meetup event listing at for times and other details like the exact address and information about parking, transportation and other thing

Note: You do not have to be an official STC or WTD member to attend the meeting.
